Well today was interesting, as the hostel emptied and I faced the depressing aspect of not getting anywhere, one of the other pilgrim a fellow Canadian was suffering from a knee injury started was getting a taxi to Borres.

Well call me an opportunist, but Borres put me nearer the hospitales

so I asked if we could split the fair, bundled everything together and got to Borres near the cafe to register for the Albergue.

As I enjoyed the light conversation, breakfast, cafe con leche, and the wafting odour of the diary barn not 50 metres away, watching the imaciated kittens play.

I suddenly realised, my boots, where were my boots?

In Tineo......

Words come to mind, retarsado, idiotas, etc.

Needless to say the cab driver Gonzalo of Tineo had a good day out of me, and I arrived back at Borres with everything.

I washed my clothes, boots, put bandages on feet, repaired damage to my boots, ate and rested.

We have a good community of pilgrims, that I will go over the hospitales with. And then I have to consider the rest of the trip.

So here is to tomorrow.

Thanks to my patrons, Brendan Mills, Renee Rushbrook, and Carlos Ara.
